Local Living Sorrento Trip Recap

Looking for the perfect girl's getaway? Italy's southern coast made the perfect homebase for our group of ten ladies - three pairs of mothers and daughters, plus friends and family.

An organic lemon farm perched above Sorrento was our home for five nights and Luigi and his family welcomed us and made us feel like family. Our very patient guide, Gin Evra, showed as all of the best spots.

We began our stay in Naples with a cultural tour of the city's less touristy areas, and of course had pizza for dinner. We stopped at the ruins of Pompeii - incredible to see the colors of the paint and the mosaics still in tact.

One night, we learned the secrets of making our own pizza and limoncello. For the more active, four brave women in our group hiked the Path of the Gods and were rewarded with incredible cliffside views of Positano.

A highlight of the trip was our day trip to Capri. We had our own private boat with a very entertaining captain - he told us about the island, served limoncello, and played music. We took the bus up to AnaCapri and then the chairlift to the very top!

The early October weather was sunny and warm during the day with a little chill at night. It was a week filled with wine, gelato, beautiful views, and lots of laughs!

Africa 2025 Group Trip Recap

There is simply something magical about a visit to Africa.

In June 2025, I hosted a group of twelve guests on an unforgettable safari through four (and for a few, five) countries. We began in South Africa learning about history in Johannesburg. From there, we visited Marakele National Park and moved on to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana. Many of the country's rhinos have been relocated there to protect them from poaching and encourage breeding.

We explored the narrow waterways of the Okavango Delta by mokoro and marveled at the stars in the night sky. In Namibia, we were greeted by so many hippos and said goodnight with the most incredible sunset.

In Chobe National Park, we traveled by boat and jeep to check off 4 of the "Big 5" - we're just missing the elusive leopard! Our time in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe was spent experiencing the power of water. We tasted authentic local dishes, shopped for local art, and took in an evening performance. A few of us even crossed into Zambia to view the falls from a different angle.

Four birthdays were celebrated, wonderful memories were made and new friendships formed! Reach out to plan your own custom, group trip to Africa or join an existing group.

Morocco Women's Trip Recap

Morocco is made for girl's trips!

In April 2025, I hosted a group of five ladies on a hike through Morocco's Atlas Mountains. Don't worry....I wasn't leading the hike! For that, we had Mama Bea who knew the mountains like the back of her hand.

We started in the bustling city of Marrakech - the colors, smells, sounds - all a beautiful chaos! From there, we drove the winding mountain roads over the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Ait Ben Haddou, a stop on historic caravan routes. We continued further into the mountains and as the villages got smaller and our cell reception disappeared, we arrived in Bou Tharar.

The next morning, we began on foot for the next four nights! Guided by Mama Bea, Hanane, and two donkeys with our three porters/cooks, we made our way along and through rivers, up and down rocky mountains, and past fields of red poppies with snow capped mountains in the distance.

Each evening, we learned about traditional cooking, rug weaving, henna tattoos, and history. And most of the time, we bought out the tiny village shop's supply of candy and Cokes!

It was an incredibly enriching experience to spend unplugged time with old and new girlfriends. Reach out to learn more about visiting Morocco - from big cities, to small villages, to the vast Sahara desert!

ENJOY EVERY DAY

My mother-in-law, Joyce, would always tell us to "Enjoy Every Day." The older she got, the more often she would repeat this mantra. I believe she did enjoy almost every one of her 33,946 days.

As I thought about what feeling I'd like to convey with my business, I thought her mantra an appropriate tagline. May we all...Enjoy Every Day!
